You are right, traditional radio stations do have 4 call letters, which are assigned to them by the FCC as part of their AM/FM broadcasting license.  But WVMBR is not regulated by the FCC because we are an online radio station.  We could have called the station anything we wanted, but we chose WVMBR because call letters are reminiscent of radio stations, and while we are on online streaming station, we do still consider ourselves to be a radio station, and that is the format we have adopted.  W because all radio stations start with W.  VM is for Vest and Maple.  B is for Brothers, because they are the VM Brothers Partnership.  and R for Radio.  WVMBR
